Product Review: L'oreal Paris Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara

Hey, guys! I'm going to do another mascara review for you guys. This time, I am reviewing the L'oreal Paris Voluminous Million Lashes mascara. This mascara can be bought at any drugstore or grocery store. Target, CVS, Bel Air, etc, etc. On their website, it costs $8.95, but you can buy it for a little over $7 at any store. L'oreal does test on animals, so be aware of that. The packaging is very simple with a gold tube and black lettering on the front.
The wand has lots of little plastic bristles that are very hard.
Before:
After:
Comparison:
It does separate and lengthen the lashes and also adds a black tint to them. I'm not a huge fan of L'oreal Paris products now that I know that they test on animals. Testing on animals is not a good thing and we should protest them. The chemicals in the mascara may not be good for human eyes if they're good for animal eyes.

Product Review: Clinque Lash Power Mascara

Hey, guys! Today I will be doing a review on Clinque's Lash Power Mascara. I purchased this for $15 at Sephora. Clinque can also be purchased at Macy's and other department stores. I have used other Clinque products before with varying results. Clinque is proven to be good for sensitive skin and eyes, but that doesn't mean that there aren't any hits and misses. The packaging for this product is very simple. It comes in a floral design patterned cardboard box, just like every other product in their makeup line. The tube is a dark blue color with silver writing on it, and the cap is silver with an embossed "C" on the top. There is .21 OZ of product in each tube.
The wand is small with lots of bristles on it. Each bristle is made up of a bunch of small bristles clumped together. The bristles are natural fibers and are soft to the touch.
Before:
After:
Comparison:
As you can see, it separates some of the lashes, but does make some lashes clump together. It doesn't stand up to crying, which I have done a lot of whenever I wear this mascara. It just adds color to my lashes, nothing else. The color I have is Black Onyx. It also makes my eyes water even though it is Ophthalmologist Tested.

Life Update

Hi, guys! I broke up with my boyfriend last night. He never put any effort into our relationship. He kept telling me to have patience and I'm not a very patient person to start with, but he didn't understand that. He also said that he knows everything in the world. So fucking arrogant. We only saw one another at work and we only went to Wendy's once. That's not a relationship. That's more of a friendship. But now we can't even be friends because I poured all my emotions out on him and he doesn't understand that. I will never date another co-worker ever again. It only ends in hurt feelings. He was at his parents house and he told me that his family needs him more than I need him. That's not smart at all. Just felt like typing that.

Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara Review

Today, I am going to review Rimmel London's Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara. Rimmel doesn't test on animals, but their sister company, Coty, does, so it's kind of iffy for me. The packaging is a bright neon green tube and a black cap.
The wand is tapered and goes from big at the bottom and small at the top. I can see the fibers on the bristles. I didn't realize that it was a fiber mascara and they irritate my eyes like crazy!
Before:
After:
Comparison:
As you can see, my lashes are long enough without the mascara, but with the mascara, they get longer. My eyes are already irritated by the fibers, so this is going to be thrown away.

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner Review

Hi, guys! Today I am doing a review on the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Highlight Activating Enhancing Shampoo & Conditioner. These are for dark blondes like me. My roots are growing out right now. I bought these at Savemart Supermarket for $6.99 each. Both the shampoo and conditioner have 8.45 fl ounces. I have always been a blonde since I was born, but when I started middle school, my hair turned dirty blonde like my dads hair and then I started getting blonde highlights every couple of months. I like being blonde because it's the way that I am. Well, enough chit-chat. Onto the review!
The shampoo and conditioner are both yellow with a light Sheer Blonde repeating itself in the back. The cap is white and is a fliptop. I like these type of squeezy tubes because it's easy to get all the product out.

The shampoo itself is a clearish yellow color that does run a little. It doesn't lather that well, but it does the job. I feel like I need more than in the top picture because my hair is pretty thick.

Ingredients:
WATER, SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE, SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE, COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, COCAMIDE MEA, FRAGRANCE, SILICONE QUATERNIUM-18, GLYCOL DISTEARATE, BENZYL ALCOHOL, GUAR HYDROXYPROPYLTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, TRIDECETH-6, DISODIUM EDTA, TRIDECETH-12, MALIC ACID, GLYCINE, PPG-9, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, STEAROXYPROPYL DIMETHYLAMINE, GLYCERIN, C14-28 ISOALKYL ACID, CARAMEL, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, AVENA SATIVA (OAT) MEAL EXTRACT, YELLOW 5, C14-28 ALKYL ACID, METHYLCHLOROISOTHIAZOLINONE, STEARYL ALCOHOL, METHYLISOTHIAZOLINONE, RED 33, HONEY EXTRACT

The conditioner is a mixture of thick and thin, but is very effective at softening the hair. I use this every other time I shower.

Ingredients:
WATER, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, DIMETHICONE, BEHENAMIDOPROPYL DIMETHYLAMINE, CETYL ESTERS, STEARYL ALCOHOL, FRAGRANCE, CAPRYLYL METHICONE, LACTIC ACID, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, ISOPROPYL PALMITATE, CARAMEL, DIAZOLIDINYL UREA, STEAROXYPROPYL DIMETHYLAMINE, C14-28 ISOALKYL ACID, GLYCINE, DISTEARYLDIMONIUM CHLORIDE, MALIC ACID, C14-28 ALKYL ACID, GLYCERIN, AVENA SATIVA (OAT) MEAL EXTRACT, IODOPROPYNYL BUTYLCARBAMATE, HONEY EXTRACT

I will totally repurchase this because even though it is a salon product, it's not too expensive and it still has quality ingredients in it.

Mall Haul!

I went to the mall today after Bocce Ball practice. I went to 3 stores.

The first store I went to was Lush, where I bought these Aquatic Toothy Tabs and also got a sample of their Rehab Shampoo.

I then went to Hot Topic and bought 7 pins for my lunch pail, a headband, some Sailor Moon playing cards, and a Divergent mug.

The final place I went was Sephora. I bought Benefit Sugar-licious Lip & Cheek kit, Urban Decay's Naked gloss in Walk of Shame, Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes mascara, a pack of headbands, and I also got a free sample.

Product Review: Borghese Extreme Lash Mascara

Hi, guys! Today I am going to do a review of Borghese Extreme Lash mascara. Borghese used to be a high-end makeup brand, but is now only sold at Costco. My mom bought a two-pack of this for us to use. There is no information about where this is made or whether or not they test on animals.
The wand is curvy and is bigger at the top and smaller at the bottom.
Before:
After:
Comparison:
It adds length and volume. It is a bit clumpy because I've had it for years. I love this for easy, simple looks.
