First Impression: Maybelline New York The Rocket Mascara

As you guys can tell, I have bought The Rocket Mascara. I wanted to wait until my day off to do a first impression of this. I bought this mascara for $7.00 at Target. It contains .3 FL OZ. of product.

The packaging is pretty much the same for every Maybelline mascara, except they wanted to showcase the brush in this one, which they call Supersonic. You would expect that this one would vibrate, but it doesn't. Lame-o.

This is what the bottle looks like before you remove the top. It's a bluish-purple with a pink ring at the top. The Rocket is printed on there in pink, along with the company name and the collection it comes from. Maybelline does test on animals, so be careful.

Now onto the "Supersonic" brush. It's pink in the center encased with clear plastic bristles that are small in the middle and bigger on the sides. The bristles get smaller as they go up and it's flat at the top. I do like the look of the brush. It's very pretty.

This is what the brush looks like once it's dipped into the product. It looks huge, but it's really not. The handle is a bit difficult to hold onto, so it'll take some practice.

Now here's the top and bottom together. I love how the pink ring stands out against the bluish-purple. It just looks so pretty.

I don't see a huge improvement, but it does make my lashes look longer and better. It doesn't seem to clump and it just looks good. I will try this out some more.

Ipsy Bag!

I finally got my Ipsy bag! I'm so happy.

The bag is blue with a blue lining with white stars and dots. It seems like a great travel makeup bag.

The first thing I got was this Soho New York Concealer Brush. I might just use this for eyeshadow because I like the way my fingers blend concealer in.

The second thing I got was this Big Sexy Hairspray. I might just use this to tame down flyaways when my hair's up in a ponytail.

The third thing I got was this Nailtini nail polish in Frappe. I might use this on my toes when it's summer.

The fourth thing I got was this Josie Maran Argan Oil. I might use this tomorrow on my face and hair. I've been wanting to try this, but it costs so much.

The last thing I got was this Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter. It feels so hydrating and nice for the winter.

All in all, this Ipsy bag is pretty darn nice. Nothing remotely makeup about it. It does get boring getting lipglosses and mascaras in every bag, so this one gets two thumbs-up from me!

Product Review: Benefit They're Real! Mascara

I have decided to do a review on my #1 go-to mascara. This is the Benefit They're Real! Mascara. I got this for Christmas and I have not used any other mascara in my collection since. Let's jump right into this.

The bottle is a dark silver with Mascara written at the bottom and They're Real! written in the middle with They're being black and Real being orange and written in fancy lettering. Benefit is written on the top of the bottle. I like how the bottle alone is tapered from the top to the bottom and the handle containing the wand is just one straight line. This has 8.5 grams or 0.3 OZ of product in it and I may be running out already. Benefit doesn't test on animals. I love this mascara so much. I use it almost every day.

The wand itself is an inch long in length and is the same width all the way down. It's covered in short bristles that grab onto each lash. The formula is in between wet and dry, so it dries really fast and doesn't clump. This mascara isn't for everyone, so go out and buy the small size of this just to see if it'll work for you before you buy the full-size of this. That's what I did.

This is after two coats of the mascara. As you can see, it lengthens the lashes beautifully and adds color to them. This is without curling them. I'm so happy with the results. It removes very well with oil-free makeup remover, so I don't have to scrub my lashes.

Christmas Goodies and Merry Christmas to all!

Merry Christmas, everyone. I hope you all got what you all wanted. These are just the makeup goodies I got. I also got a hoodie, pajamas, two 3DS games, jeans, and a throw blanket.

This is a mixture of stuff I got from my parents and my brother and his girlfriend.

This is what my brother and his girlfriend got me.

This was just a little goodie bag full of stuff to try. I may do my first giveaway and give away the mini version of They're Real! Mascara since I already have that version and now I have the full-sized version, as well.

The best part of their gift was them gifting me a subscription to Birchbox, so I will get 3 months' worth of free stuff and if I like it, I will keep doing it.

This is what my parents got me. They got me the full-sized version of They're Real! and an Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Retrograde. I am so thankful to have such wonderful family that spoil me and make me feel special. Happy Holidays to everyone. :)

First Impression: Freeman Anti-Stress Mask

Today, I tried the Freeman mask I bought for the first time and wanted to tell you all about it. This isn't a review since I haven't used it that much. The bottle is blue with seashells all over it, which shows that it has Dead Sea Minerals. The mask itself is blue and has a very thin consistency, which I have never seen before.

Once you apply it, you'll look like a Na'vi from the movie Avatar. I had a picture, but it didn't upload, so I'm mad. That's it for this. I will do a review on this soon.
