Stila Soul Eyeshadow Palette: Swatches

I'm going to do swatches of the Stila Soul Eyeshadow Palette. This palette has twelve eyeshadows in it.

I've never tried Stila eyeshadows, but they seem very pigmented and I think I'll get some good use out of them.

NYX Dream Catcher Palette in Golden Horizions: Swatches

I bought this palette quite a while ago and now want to use it. So I'm going to do some swatches of this. This palette has ten eyeshadows in it.

Here are the shadows swatched on my arm. They really aren't that pigmented, but I'm willing to give them a try before I toss it out.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics: Swatches

I bought this at Sephora a while ago. I've only used it twice so far, but I'm already in love with it. This small eyeshadow palette has six eyeshadows, five matte and one demi-matte.

The packaging is quite cute. It's almost rubberized, so it's better for travel. It's just very basic, simple packaging. The colors are, from left to right, Skimp, Stark, Frisk, Cover, Primal, and Undone. They're all cool-toned taupes.
Here are the swatches over bare skin with no primer, a couple of swipes with my finger. Skimp and Stark are the two lightest and then they darken. Undone seems hard to blend and I don't want to use it, but I will try it.

Mall Haul!

Hi, guys! I went to the mall today and went into Sephora and bareMinerals. Lets get on with it.

The first place I went was Sephora. I bought three things. The first thing is the Naked 2 Basics, which was $29.00, then the Clean Rollerball Collection, which was $18.00, and then this Bite Vivids Lipstick duo, which was $12.00. Plus tax, I paid $63.43 for all this.

The last place I went was bareMinerals and I bought a Marvelous Moxie lipgloss in Party Starter, which cost $18.00. Plus tax, it was $19.35.

Thanks for checking me out!

Out With the Old: Makeup: July 2014

I have a confession: I am a makeup hoarder. There, I said it. I learned this from my mom. She uses decades old makeup without any issues, so I decided that I would start doing the same, but I hate having products I don't use or are old in my collection because I only have one basket for all my makeup and I tend to buy new products whenever I'm at the drugstore, Ulta, or Sephora. I just can't help myself. Most of these products haven't been reviewed because I either don't like them or I didn't use them all that much. Click through to see what I've thrown out.
