Product Review: Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer SPF 15

I am going to review another Simple product. This time it is their Protecting Light Moisturizer with SPF 15. I use this in the mornings. This costs $9.99 at Target. The packaging is very nice. It's got a green flip-top lid. The bottle itself is white with Simple in green with a green stripe like a smile underneath it. Different shades of green stripe the bottom of the bottle. The bottle contains 4.2 Fl Oz of product. Ingredients are unavailable.
The product itself is white in color, but becomes clear. It's very light and refreshing on my skin and makes it soft. I use this product in the morning after I wash my face. It's not that good for winter, but it's better for the summer. I will always repurchase this.

Product Review: Simple Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes

Today I will be reviewing Simple Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes. These cost $4.99 at Target and I buy 2 at a time because they may have a good deal on them. There are 25 sheets in each pack. Simple used to be a strictly UK brand that has made its way to the US. I have tried their facial cleansers, but they broke me out, so I've been using their wipes, which don't break me out.

Each sheet is 7 x 7.5 inches and is super saturated with product, but not dripping with it. I flip my pack upside down so that the product will soak the topmost sheet. The bottom picture is after I removed a full face of foundation and concealer. I do this step before I wash my face and it does make a difference. I am always going to repurchase this.

Product Review: Em Cosmetics Lash Gallery Lengthening Mascara

Today I will be reviewing Em Cosmetics Lash Gallery Lengthening Mascara. Em Cosmetics is a company that Michelle Phan created. For those of you who don't know, Michelle is a beauty guru on Youtube. She is very popular and I love her. I learned everything I know from her. I received this product in my Ipsy bag, which is also another Michelle Phan creation. Ipsy is a subscription service where you get a makeup bag every month catered to your likes. But this isn't about Ipsy. This is about Em Cosmetics, so let's get to the review.

The packaging is very simple and clean, with a white tube with Em Cosmetics written on the front in a black box. The name of the mascara is written on the silver cap. It's different, which is nice. The price of this is $20.00, which is a lot to pay for one mascara. The wand itself is curved and has long bristles. There is fiber in the mascara, which sticks to the wand.

What Michelle Says:
  • uniquely designed scoop brush lifts and curls lashes as it lengthens
  • smudge-proof, smear-proof wear with easy warm water removal
  • instant lengthening without clumping
Before
 After
It does lengthen, but the fibers get into my eye, which makes them red and irritated. No more fiber mascaras for me. I won't be purchasing any mascaras from Em Cosmetics. It's not worth the $20.00 for one mascara. And the strange thing is that there are no ingredients listed.

Naked 3 Swatches

I bought the Naked 3 palette with my brother's girlfriend Rhia and she also bought it. I love this palette. It's got the most beautiful colors in it. It's so different. The palette itself is a rosegold color and has Naked 3 and Urban Decay written in gold.

The palette opens up and there is a mirror and twelve eyeshadows all lined up from light to dark. It comes with a double-ended eyeshadow brush.

Swatches

L-R: Strange, Dust, and Burnout

L-R: Limit, Buzz, Trick.

L-R: Nooner, Liar, and Factory.

L-R: Mugshot, Darkside, and Blackheart.

My favorite colors are: Limit, Nooner, Trick, and Liar.

I went to Target today with my parents. It was mostly because I had a $100 giftcard burning a hole in my pocket. Scroll through to see what I got.
